Challenge
The challenge addressed was to provide residents with a serene living space in a prestigious residential complex located in a sought-after area. The goal was to ensure sound insulation without compromising on the luxurious and aesthetic aspects of the complex.
Solution
DECIBEL's MUTE SYSTEM™, incorporating patented DClox™ anti-vibration mounts, was selected for all walls and floors' soundproofing. The unique Mass-Spring-Mass principle dispersed sound energy effectively. Finite Element Modelling was utilised to design the optimal geometry of MUTE, maximising acoustic efficiency.
