Acoustic Wall Design for Lyreco Meeting Room in Pezinok

Project Overview

Lyreco, a provider of high-quality conference room furniture, reached out to DECIBEL with a clear objective: improve the acoustics of a company meeting room in Pezinok.

The goal was to create a space where speech intelligibility is optimised, and echo is significantly reduced; all without compromising visual appeal.

Working collaboratively with our partners from POTICHU, we developed a bespoke design featuring BEELIVE hexagonal acoustic panels, which delivered both acoustic performance and an elegant visual touch.

Challenge

Meeting rooms demand acoustic clarity, especially during presentations and video calls. However, the space in question suffered from excessive echo and poor speech intelligibility, common issues in hard-surfaced, minimalist interiors.

The client also required that the acoustic treatment integrate seamlessly with the existing design and support the professional image of the company.

Solution

DECIBEL proposed the use of BEELIVE hexagonal fabric acoustic panels, chosen for their balance of performance and design. The team collaborated with the client to select a colour combination that complemented the room’s interior while enhancing the geometric appeal of the panels.

During installation, we opted for a deliberate separation between each panel. This approach visually highlighted the hexagonal design while maintaining maximum surface area for effective sound absorption.

Result

The result is a visually elegant acoustic feature wall that dramatically reduces echo and improves clarity during meetings.

The space now supports productive conversations and high-quality sound environments for hybrid communication.
