Installation Overview

• D-FON is installed directly onto the floor slab with the bitumen-coated side facing upwards, then covered with a minimum 5 cm screed.
• Rolls overlap by 2 cm, creating a continuous protective layer without weak points
• Material continues at least 10 cm up the walls to seal the floor–wall junction, where sound often escapes
• Fully compatible with underfloor heating systems and can be placed either under or over heating pipes
• Once installed, D-FON becomes an invisible but powerful shield against impact noise
