NOVASOUND is a high-density, resilient floor soundproofing membrane designed to reduce impact noise in both new and existing buildings. Produced from natural cork granules and synthetic elastomeric compounds, it combines sustainability with outstanding sound insulation. At only 2.5 mm thick, NOVASOUND installs easily under ceramic tiles, laminate, or natural parquet, creating a durable, invisible acoustic layer without raising floor height.

How It Works

NOVASOUND is applied as an elastic underlay, bonded directly to the screed or existing floor surface. Its dense composition absorbs vibration energy caused by footsteps, furniture movement, or dropped objects, reducing sound transfer through the structure. By combining the resilience of cork with recycled elastomers, the membrane provides effective impact noise insulation and ensures long-term performance as part of a complete acoustic treatment strategy.

Installation Overview

• Glued directly onto the screed or an existing floor using cement-based or polyurethane adhesive

• The material continues up the wall by at least 10 cm to seal junctions, preventing sound leakage
• Fully compatible with underfloor heating systems
