The PZP™ Perforated Galvanised Steel Panel is a high-performance modular solution designed for demanding industrial and outdoor applications where durability, noise control, and weather resistance are essential. Developed by DECIBEL, these panels combine galvanised steel strength with advanced acoustic engineering, offering exceptional noise reduction and long-lasting performance in even the toughest environments.
From roadside barriers and rooftop installations to industrial enclosures and soundproof cabins, the PZP™ system delivers effective noise control with superior structural integrity. Its rugged metal construction, combined with precision-engineered perforations and mineral wool infill, ensures both sound absorption and insulation across a wide frequency range.
How It Works
Each PZP™ panel consists of a perforated galvanised steel front sheet and a solid galvanised steel rear sheet, with a high-density mineral wool core wrapped in a glass cloth scrim for acoustic performance and durability.
The perforated surface allows sound waves to penetrate into the absorbent core, where energy is dissipated as heat, while the non-perforated rear layer blocks residual sound transmission. The result is a dual-action acoustic system that both absorbs internal reverberation and prevents external noise escape.
Depending on the project, the industrial acoustic panels can be finished in powder-coated RAL colours or hot-dip galvanised zinc coatings, ensuring resistance to weather, corrosion, and UV exposure.
Key Benefits
- Durable and weather-resistant: Designed for outdoor environments.
 - High acoustic performance: Combines absorption and insulation for effective noise control across frequencies.
 - Customisable construction: Available in multiple thicknesses and dimensions to fit project-specific requirements.
 - Versatile use: Suitable for indoor and outdoor soundproofing enclosures, machinery cabins, and noise barriers.
 - Low maintenance: Corrosion-resistant surfaces and long service life even in harsh conditions.
 - Aesthetic flexibility: Powder-coated or galvanised finishes available to match industrial settings.

Installation Overview
PZP™ panels are designed for modular assembly, allowing easy installation for both permanent and temporary acoustic structures. Panels can be integrated into steel frames or self-supporting enclosures, depending on the application. Mounting is typically done using bolts or welding points, ensuring structural stability under vibration or weather exposure.
