When Hitachi Solutions prepared to open their new office in Sofia, they wanted the space to reflect both functionality and design sophistication. Part of this vision included creating meeting booths with distinctive acoustic treatment.

The challenge was not only to achieve great acoustics but also to deliver a design that matched the architect’s concept.

DECIBEL was approached to produce bespoke acoustic panels, customised with etched patterns and painted in RAL colours.

The client needed acoustic panels that were not only effective but also completely unique, following a design vision of the office with specific textures, colours, and finishes.

Safety during installation was another key concern, as the panels needed to be mounted securely without visible screws to preserve the sleek, modern look.

Solution

After the sample was presented at a meeting in Hitachi Solutions’ old office, the client confirmed the project.

With careful on-site measurements and engineering tests, the panels were produced and installed without any visible fixings, ensuring both safety and design integrity.
