Echo Wall Acoustic Panels in BE Terna Office and Meeting Rooms

Project Overview

DECIBEL was commissioned to improve the acoustic environment in office and meeting rooms of BE Terna in Slovenia.

The spaces suffered from high reverberation and echo due to large glass walls, which disrupted both in-person meetings and online calls.

Challenge

The glass wall construction created strong reflections and poor speech intelligibility.

The task was to reduce reverberation without altering the visual identity of the office and to ensure that the new solution complemented the existing interior design.

Solution

DECIBEL produced and installed Echo Wall textile acoustic panels across reflective wall areas.

The panels were chosen for their excellent absorption in the speech frequency range, effectively reducing echo and improving clarity.

The selected colours were matched to the office’s design, ensuring the panels blended seamlessly with the interior.

Result

The installation delivered a significant improvement in acoustic comfort. Reverberation was reduced to acceptable levels, allowing employees to conduct meetings and calls without distraction.
