Precision Acoustics: A Multi-Stage Solution for Amusnet

Project Overview
For content creators and audio professionals, the integrity of a recording environment is everything. Amusnet, a B2B licensed iGaming company, required three pristine, acoustically isolated rooms for critical listening and production.
This project showcases DECIBEL's methodical, two-stage approach to transforming standard rooms into professional-grade acoustic spaces, ensuring each room performs identically and to the highest standard.
Challenge
Amusnet's requirement was complex and precise: to create three acoustically superior, soundproofed rooms that were near-identical in their performance.
The core challenges were containing sound between the rooms (soundproofing) and then controlling the sound within each room (acoustic treatment).
This demanded a comprehensive, systematic solution that integrated multiple technical disciplines, from isolation construction to precise acoustic calibration, all while minimising disruption and maintaining a clean, professional finish for the studios.
Scope of Work
- Comprehensive Acoustic Proposal: Including detailed on-site measurements, acoustic simulation, and a full description of the recommended soundproofing and acoustic treatment.
- Phase 1 - Soundproofing Construction: Installation of the specialised C-BLOCK soundproofing system on the walls of all three rooms.
- Interim Coordination: Managing the project timeline to allow the client to paint the walls before the final acoustic treatment phase.
- Phase 2 - Acoustic Treatment: Installation of tailored absorptive textile panels on key wall surfaces and bass traps in the corners to control low-frequency reverberation.
- Final Installation: Fitting of professional-grade soundproof doors to complete the acoustic isolation.
Solution
DECIBEL executed a meticulously planned, two-phase solution. We began by constructing a robust soundproofing barrier using the C-BLOCK system, effectively decoupling the walls to prevent sound transmission.
After the client applied their chosen paint, we returned to implement the fine-tuned acoustic treatment. This involved strategically placing broadband-absorbing textile panels to eliminate mid and high-frequency reflections and installing bass traps to manage problematic low-end frequencies.
The final step was the seamless installation of custom soundproof doors, creating a complete acoustic seal.
Result
The project was a complete success, delivering three acoustically identical, professionally isolated rooms that meet the critical standards required by Amusenet.
The client is highly satisfied with the dramatic reduction in both external noise intrusion and internal reverberation, which allows for accurate monitoring and clean recording. The rooms now function as a reliable, high-performance complex for audio production.
