How It Works

MUTE SYSTEM™ 63 is based on the Mass-Spring-Mass principle, recognised as one of the most effective solutions for controlling airborne sound. The dense gypsum fibreboard provides the mass, the high-density PU foam functions as the spring, and the existing wall structure serves as the second mass layer. Together, they create a dual-direction sound barrier that both limits external noise from entering and contains sound within the room.

The panels are mounted with DECIBEL’s patented DClox™ fasteners, reducing surface contact with the wall to less than 1%. This breakthrough design minimises vibration transfer, ensuring the highest levels of soundproofing efficiency.
